Project Management Training
In 2016, I was asked to deliver a series of Project Management training sessions for staff at Melton Borough Council.
As a small borough council with tight budgets, it is imperative that managing change is done effectively. Melton wanted to ensure that staff involved in delivering projects were given training. I was asked to deliver a series of one day training courses to a number of staff linked to Melton’s project management approach.
The course was run four times over a 2 month period, giving over 30 members of the council staff an insight into the basic techniques of project management.
In addition, I designed and delivered a separate half day workshop for some senior managers to review project governance. The workshop was in response to feedback from attendees of the earlier course about issues around the effectivenss of Project Boards.
Course was very good. Good use of activities and skills that I can apply to my work as soon as tomorrow

This was an excellent introduction to project management.
